WBPSC ICDS Supervisor Main Exam Syllabus 2020 Mains Pattern : –

WB PSC West Bengal will conduct Mains Examination For Recruitment to the post of Supervisor (Female only) of ICDS,2020 Under the Department Of Women & Child Development & Social Welfare ,Govt. of West Bengal.

WBPSC ICDS Supervisor Main Exam SyllabuS 

 West Bengal Public Service Commission will conduct the following exams. to select ICDS Supervisors (Direct) through competitive examination –

Pattern of the Recruitment : 

• Preliminary Exam – 100 Marks
• Mains Exam – 400 Marks
• Viva Voce Test – 50 Marks

Prelims Test will be qualifying in nature of appearing in the mains exam. Marks of preliminary exam will not be counted for final merit list preparation.

Candidates qualified in the mains exam will be called for interview/personality test.

Final Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Mains Exam. & Interview.

Mains Exam Pattern : 

• Type of questions : Descriptive type 
• Main Exam. paper will consist of 4 different Papers which are - Paper I, Paper II, Paper III, Paper IV.

Mains Exam Syllabus : 

Paper-I : English (Class-XII Standard) 

• Report Drafting 
• Translation from Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali to English 
• Summary/Precis Writing 
• English Grammar (correct use of words, voice change, narration change, transformation of sentences, correction of sentences, use of common phrases, synonyms, antonyms).

Paper-II : Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali (Class XII Standard) 

• Drafting of Report 
• Translation from English to Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali 
• Summary/Precis Writing
• Grammar.

Paper-III : General Studies & Current Affairs (Class-X Standard) 

• Life Science with special emphasis on Nutrition and Health, 
• Women Empowerment Issues.
• General Knowledge (Indian History with special emphasis on Indian Freedom struggle, Geography, Environmental Science, Physical Science) 
• Current Affairs 
• Verbal and non-verbal reasoning.

Paper-IV : Arithmetic (Class-X Standard) 

• Arithmetic 

Language of the Exam. : 

Answer for Paper-III - Either in English or in Bengali.

Answer for Paper-IV - Either in English or in Bengali.
